Abstract
Isolated polypeptides, isolated polynucleotides or expression vectors encoding same, viral display vehicles which can be specifically bind an exposed epitope shared by mutant, but not wild type, p53 protein are provided. Also provided are methods of inducing apoptosis and treating cancer as well as diagnosing a p53-related cancer using the isolated polypeptides uncovered by the present invention.
Claims34
An isolated polynucleotide comprising a nucleic acid sequence encoding a polypeptide capable of specifically binding an exposed epitope shared by p53 mutant proteins and not by wild type p53 protein, wherein an affinity of said specific binding is less than 25 nanomolar.
An isolated polynucleotide comprising a nucleic acid sequence encoding a CDR-containing polypeptide comprising at least one CDR selected from the group consisting of CDR SEQ ID NOs:8-112.
An isolated polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence capable of specifically binding an exposed epitope shared by p53 mutant proteins and not by wild type p53 protein, wherein an affinity of said specific binding is less than 25 nanomolar.
An isolated polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence of at least one CDR selected from the group consisting of CDR SEQ ID NOs:8-112.
A composition comprising a viral display vehicle expressing on a surface thereof a polypeptide capable of specifically binding an exposed epitope shared by p53 mutant proteins and not by wild type p53 protein, wherein an affinity of said specific binding is less than 25 nanomolar.
A composition comprising a viral display vehicle expressing on a surface thereof a CDR-containing polypeptide comprising at least one CDR selected from the group consisting of CDR SEQ ID NOs:8-112.
