The invention relates to an item of clothing, in particular to be worn during sports such as jogging, skating, cycling or similar. Said item of clothing is made of at least one yarn (3) that comprises a heat-reflecting covering (5).

A clothing item for use in athletic activities such as jogging, skating, cycling or the like, produced from at least one yarn (3) having a coating, characterized in that the coating (5) is heat reflective and is arranged on the side facing away from the skin (4).
A clothing item for a person for use in athletic activities such as jogging, skating, cycling or the like, produced from a first yarn (2) that is not moisture absorbent and faces and is adapted to contact the skin of the person and a second yarn (3) worked together with said first yarn (2), the second yarn (3) facing away from the skin (4) and having a coating (5) that is heat reflective and is arranged on the side facing away from the skin (4) of the person for reflecting heat to enhance performance of the person during athletic activity.
