Abstract
A system having a layered architecture for constructing dynamic social network from image data of actors and events. It may have a low layer for capturing raw data and identifying actors and events. The system may have a middle layer that receives actor and event information from the low layer and puts it in to a two dimensional matrix. A high layer of the system may add weighted relationship information to the matrix to form the basis for constructing a social network. The system may have a sliding window thus making the social network dynamic.
Claims20
A social network construction system, comprising:
- a first layer for capturing image data and identifying actors and events in the image data;
- a second layer for indicating which actors are involved in which events;
- and
- a third layer for inferring links between actors from the second layer and constructing a social network.
A method for constructing a social network, comprising:
- a first layer comprising:
- capturing image data;
- and
- processing the image data to identify actors and events;
- a second layer comprising:
- indicating the actors involved with the events;
- and
- a third layer comprising:
- inferring relationships between the actors involved with the events;
- and
- constructing a social network of the actors and the relationships.
A layered architecture for social network construction, comprising:
- a low layer for processing image data to identify actors and events;
- a middle layer for indicating the events that the actors are involved with;
- and
- a high layer for inferring the relationships among the actors in the middle layer for constructing a social network.
