Abstract

A radiation detection apparatus to detect radiation. A substrate (1) has a conversion element on a first surface. The conversion element is configured to convert radiation into electric charges. A readout circuit is connected to a first region. The first region includes a first edge of the first surface. A driving circuit is connected to a second region other than the first region. The second region includes a second edge of the first surface. A light source (4) is arranged on a second surface side which faces the first surface. The light source (4) is arranged so as to face any regions of the second surface side except the first region.
