Abstract
Systems and methods for providing interoperability of systems are provided. One embodiment may be seen as instantiating a server in a container having instances of Enterprise Java™ Beans (EJB), and accessing the EJB through the local interface of the EJB. Since the EJB is accessed from within the container, the need for translation of messaging protocols at a bridge is removed. The server components are provided access to the EJB logic through the local interface of the EJB.
Claims19
In a distributed network, a method comprising:
- instantiating a CORBA server the CORBA server being initiated in a servlet context with parameters that are passed back and forth from an application that is called;
- instantiating at least one Enterprise Java™ Bean within a Enterprise Java™ Bean (EJB) container;
- and
- providing data to a client workstation.
A method for providing interoperability comprising:
- instantiating a server within an Enterprise Java™ Bean (EJB) container, a CORBA server being initiated in a servlet context with at least one parameter that is passed back and forth from an application that is called;
- instantiating at least one Enterprise Java™ Bean within the Enterprise Java™ Bean (EJB) container;
- and
- providing data to a client workstation.
A method for providing interoperability comprising:
- instantiating a component within an Enterprise Java™ Bean (EJB) container, the component being initiated in a servlet context with at least one parameter that is passed back and forth from an application;
- instantiating a server within the container;
