Search server

A search server comprising:

• a plurality of search target databases each storing search target information and classification information indicating a classification according to the search target information in correspondence to each other;
• a classification information database storing searching information and the classification information in correspondence to each other;
• search request receiving means for receiving a search request containing searching information, from a terminal;
• classification information specifying means for specifying classification information associated with the search request, with reference to the information stored in the classification information database, based on the searching information contained in the search request received by the search request receiving means;
• information acquiring means for acquiring the search target information corresponding to the classification information specified by the classification information specifying means, from the search target databases;
• and
• search result information generating means for generating search result information to the search request, based on the search target information acquired by the information acquiring means.
