Abstract
A wireless local area network magnetic communications system comprising a plurality of portable interdependent satellite magnetic transceivers each connected to a respective computer module enclosed in a chassis, wherein a base system containing a magnetic transceiver communicates with the satellite transceivers having associated antennas for transmitting and receiving magnetic signals via a wireless network protocol.
Claims20
A system for transmitting and receiving magnetic signals within a wireless local access network, comprising:
- a transmitter having a signal source, a modulator coupled to the source, a power amplifier coupled to the modulator and a magnetic antenna inductively coupled to the power amplifier for transmission of magnetic signals;
- a wireless communication device;
- and a receiver coupled to a magnetic antenna for receiving magnetic signals.
A communications system comprising:
- one or more interdependent transceivers each including:
- a data source, a modulator coupled to the source, a power amplifier coupled to the modulator and a magnetic antenna inductively coupled to the power amplifier for transmission of magnetic signals;
- one or more wireless communication devices;
- and a magnetic antenna for receiving magnetic signals coupled to a receiver for reception of data.
A wireless local area network magnetic communications system comprising a plurality of portable interdependent satellite magnetic transceivers enclosed in a chassis, wherein a base system containing a magnetic transceiver communicates with said satellite transceivers having associated antennas for transmitting and receiving magnetic signals via a wireless network protocol.
A magnetic communications transceiver comprising:
- a circuit adapted to modulate a data signal and a carrier signal;
- a means for transmission of the data signal and a carrier signal on a magnetic carrier of electromagnetic radiation;
- a means for generating a first signal indicative of a received magnetic carrier of electromagnetic radiation;
- and a demodulator for demodulating the signal indicative of a data communications.
