Abstract
A mobile terminal and a network device for providing a handover service are provided. A mobile terminal includes a transmission unit to transmit a request message for handover information to a network device, and a receiving unit to receive a response message including the handover information from the network device, wherein the request message and the response message are transceived by an application layer protocol.

A mobile terminal comprising:
- a transmission unit to transmit a request message for handover information to a network device;
- and
- a receiving unit to receive a response message including the handover information from the network device,
- wherein the request message and the response message are transceived by an application layer protocol.
A network device comprising:
- a receiving unit to receive a request message for handover information from at least one mobile terminal;
- and
- a transmission unit to transmit a response message including the handover information to the at least one mobile terminal,
- wherein the request message and the response message are transceived by an application layer protocol.
