Abstract
Some embodiments provide a method of macro cell remapping at a Voice over LTE via Generic Access (VoLGA) access network controller (VANC). The method receives a service request message from a user equipment (UE). The service request message includes macro cell information that includes an identity of a current camping cell. The method maps the macro cell information provided by the UE into a corresponding service area identifier (SAI).
Claims16
A method of macro cell remapping at a Voice over LTE via Generic Access (VoLGA) access network controller (VANC), the method comprising:
- receiving a service request message from a user equipment (UE), the service request message comprising macro cell information comprising an identity of a current camping cell;
- and
- mapping the macro cell information provided by the UE into a corresponding service area identifier (SAI).
A computer readable storage medium of a Voice over LTE via Generic Access (VoLGA) access network controller (VANC) storing a computer program for macro cell remapping, the computer program executable by at least one processor, the computer program comprising:
- a set of instructions for receiving a service request message from a user equipment (UE), the service request message comprising macro cell information comprising an identity of a current camping cell;
- and
- a set of instructions for mapping the macro cell information provided by the UE into a corresponding service area identifier (SAI).
