Abstract
Flexible enclosure comprising a working strip 2 and sidewalls 3, defining an envelope, and a sealing membrane 11 at least partially lining the envelope. The sealing membrane 11 is comprised of an elastic material 14 and a perforation-resistant reinforcement 15, the sealing membrane 11 being free with regard to the working strip 2 and attached to an opposite edge remote to the working strip 2.
Claims14
Flexible enclosure comprising a working strip (2) and sidewalls (3), defining an envelope. The said enclosure being characterised in that it comprises a sealing membrane (11) which lines at least part of the envelope, the sealing membrane (11) comprising an elastic material (14) and a perforation-resistant reinforcement (15), and the sealing membrane not being attached to the working strip and being attached to an edge remote from the working strip.
Enclosure according to any one of the preceding claims, in which the developed length of the meridian of the sealing membrane is greater than that of the meridian of the envelope.
Enclosure according to any one of the preceding claims, comprising at least one additional sealing membrane which at least partially lines the inside of the first sealing membrane, the additional sealing membrane comprising an elastic material (20) and a perforation-resistant reinforcement (21), and the additional sealing membrane being at least partially not attached to the first sealing membrane and being attached to an edge remote from the working strip.
Enclosure according to any one of the preceding claims, comprising a plurality of balls (16) arranged in a bed between the working strip and the sealing membrane.
Enclosure according to any one of the preceding claims, in which the sealing membrane comprises an elastomer, preferably halobutyl.
Enclosure according to any one of the preceding claims, in which the sealing membrane comprises at least one material for bonding the perforation-resistant reinforcement to the elastic material.
Enclosure according to any one of the preceding claims, in which the elastic material (14) covers at least one of the faces of the perforation-resistant reinforcement (15).
Pneumatic enclosure according to the any one of the preceding claims.
