Aircraft fuselage comprising a wall and side doors as well as a space for work and storage, the latter being arranged behind the side door (10) the farthest to the rear of the aircraft and delimited on the one hand by two side walls (4) formed by the fuselage of the aircraft and on the other hand by a more or less transverse bulkhead (8), the said space for work and storage comprising housings (20) intended to accommodate carts (16), the said housings (20) being arranged along the said more or less transverse bulkhead (8),

• characterized in that the housings (20) are arranged along the more or less transverse bulkhead (8) from one side wall to the other, in that an aisle (24) serves the housings (20) arranged along the transverse bulkhead (8), in that the said aisle (24) has at least one transverse portion (26) in relation to the aircraft, the said transverse portion (26) being arranged entirely behind the side door (10) the farthest to the rear of the aircraft, in that at least one housing (22) intended to accommodate a cart (16) is arranged on the other side of the transverse portion (26) of the aisle (24) in relation to the housings (20) arranged along the wall, and in that each of the said housings (20, 22) for accommodating a cart (16) extends longitudinally in relation to a longitudinal axis (6) relative to the aircraft.
