Abstract
[Problem Solved] The friction drag decreases and the friction resistance decrease ship that improves fuel cost is offered. [Means for Solving Problem] Duct 3 is divided into two or more independent chambers 5, with partition 4 according to the longitudinal direction; piping 6 is introduced in each chamber 5 and penetrates through partition 4to supply air to each chamber 5. Air is supplied by assistance compressor 7 through piping 6. Opening 8 is formed in the lateral aspect of each chamber 5, and microbubble generator 10 is installed in this opening 8.
Claims4
A frictional resistance reduction ship,
- along the lateral aspects of a hull of said ship, ducts for air supply are prepared almost perpendicularly from near the upper end of a hull to a bottom end,
- each duct is divided by chambers which became independent along longitudinal directions.
- piping for supplying air for every said chamber is introduced.
- an opening is formed in said chambers.
- a microbubble generator is attached to said openings.
- said microbubble generator consists of a plate inserted in such opening and a wing for negative pressure generation attached to the plate, at the point which counters with wings of said plates, a window is formed which connected with the outside.
