Abstract
The present invention relates to portafilter (1) for an espresso machine, which portafilter (1) is made of brass and comprises an inner surface, wherein the inner surface of the portafilter is coated first with a layer of primer (2) and then a layer of fluoropolymer (3) and wherein the layer of primer (2) enables attachment of the layer of fluoropolymer (3) to the inner surface of the portafilter (1).
