Abstract
The invention relates to dispersions comprising water, lipophilic phase and emulsifier, characterized in that the emulsifier is present in an amount of less than or equal to 3% by weight based on the total weight of the dispersion, and in that the emulsifier comprises at least one acylglutamate. The dispersions of the invention are suitable for cosmetic and/or pharmaceutical preparations.

A dispersion comprising
- (a) water,
- (b) a lipophilic phase, and
- (c) an emulsifier comprising at least one acylglutamate, wherein said emulsifier less than or equal to about 3% by weight based on the total weight of the dispersion.
