Abstract
An image scanning apparatus includes an input unit configured to input a scanning job, a scanning unit configured to scan a document according to the scanning job and generate image data of the document, and a storing unit configured to store the scanning job. The scanning unit performs scanning according to the scanning job inputted by the input unit and, thereafter, performs scanning according to the scanning job stored in the storing unit.
Claims11
An image scanning apparatus comprising:
- an input unit configured to input a scanning job;
- a scanning unit configured to scan a document according to the scanning job to generate image data;
- and
- a storing unit configured to store the scanning job,
- wherein the scanning unit performs scanning according to the scanning job inputted by the input unit and, thereafter, performs scanning according to the scanning job stored in the storing unit.
An image scanning method using an information terminal apparatus and an image scanning apparatus that are communicatively connected to each other, the method comprising the steps of:
- transmitting a scanning job from the information terminal apparatus to the image scanning apparatus;
- storing the scanning job in a storing unit of the image scanning apparatus;
- receiving a command to start scanning in the image scanning apparatus;
- scanning a document according to the scanning job stored in the storing unit and generating image data of the document in the image scanning apparatus;
- and
- transmitting the image data to the information terminal apparatus,
- wherein the storing unit stores the scanning job after the document is scanned according to the scanning job at the step of scanning.
