Abstract
The invention relates to a circuit for transition-edge bolometers, which comprises a resistor element (1) arranged to operate in the transition-edge zone, and an amplifier (5) connected to the resistor element (1). According to the invention, in connection with the amplifier (5) means are arranged for implementing positive (4, 5) and negative (5, 2) feedbacks in the resistance measurement.
Claims12
Circuit for transition-edge bolometers, which comprises
- a resistor element (1) arranged to operate in the transition-edge zone, and
- an amplifier (5) connected to the resistor element (1),
- characterized in that
- in connection with the amplifier (5) means are arranged for implementing positive (4, 5) and negative (5, 2) feedbacks in the resistance measurement.
Circuit according to any of the above claims, characterized in that a k×n matrix is formed from the resistor elements and each resistor element (1) comprises means (10, 20) for raising the resistor element (1) to the transition zone row by row (30), in which case an individual resistor element (1) of each row (30) can be raised to the transition zone and thus the matrix's k×n resistor elements (1) can be read with a minimum number of amplifiers (5).
Circuit according to any of the above claims, characterized in that the bolometer (40) is divided into two parts.
Method for transistor-edge bolometers, in which method
- a resistor element (1) operating in the transition-edge zone is used, and
- the resistance value of the resistor element (1) is measured using an amplifier (5) connected to it,
- characterized in that
- in the amplifier both positive (4, 5) and negative (5, 2) feedback are implemented during the resistance measurement.
Method according to any of the above claims, characterized in that a k×n matrix is formed from the resistor elements and each resistor element (1) comprises means (10, 20) for raising the resistor element (1) to the transition zone row by row (30), in which case an individual resistor element (1) of each row (30) can be raised to the transition zone and thus the matrix's k×n resistor elements (1) can be read with a minimum number of amplifiers (5).
Method according to any of the above claims, characterized in that the bolometer (40) is divided into two parts.
