Abstract
A liquid absorbent device in the form of a fuel spillage interceptor arranged for mounting on a fuel dispensing nozzle, the fuel spillage interceptor being arranged to enclose a portion of the spout of the dispensing nozzle, and where an essentially annular body is formed by a cloth that is permeable to liquid, and which defines a volume of at least one liquid absorbent material.

Liquid absorbent device in the form of a fuel spillage interceptor arranged for mounting on a fuel dispensing nozzle, the fuel spillage interceptor, having the shape of an essentially annular body and being formed from a cloth that is permeable to liquid and which defines a volume of at least one hydrocarbon liquid absorbent material, being arranged to enclose a portion of the spout of the dispensing nozzle, wherein the at least one hydrocarbon liquid absorbent material is particulate, desiccated hydrophobic sphagnum peat.
