Abstract
If the signatures of all documents in a binder document are verified when the binder document is verified, some types of documents stored in the binder document may affect the result of the verification of the binder document. When verification of a binder is performed, it is determined, for each document in the binder document, whether the document is a verification target document or not. On the basis of the result of verification of a document determined as a verification target, the result of verification of the binder document is outputted.

A document verification method for an apparatus for verifying a binder document which includes multiple documents, the method comprising:
- a determination step of determining, for each document included in the binder document, whether the document is a verification target document or not;
- a verification step of verifying a document which has been determined as the verification target document in the determination step;
- and
- an output step of outputting the result of verification of the binder document, on the basis of the result of the verification of the verification target document.
A document verification apparatus for verifying a binder document which includes multiple documents, the apparatus comprising:
- determination unit that determines, for each document included in the binder document, whether the document is a verification target document or not;
- verification unit that verifies a document which has been determined as the verification target document by the determination unit;
- and
- output unit that outputs the result of verification of the binder document, on the basis of the result of the verification of the verification target document.
A computer-readable storage medium in which a computer program is stored, the computer program causing a computer to execute each of the steps of:
- a determination step of determining, for each document included in a binder document, whether the document is a verification target document or not;
- a verification step of verifying a document which has been determined as the verification target document in the determination step;
- and
- an output step of outputting the result of verification of the binder document, on the basis of the result of the verification of the verification target document.
