Abstract
A processor is provided in a main body and performs at least one of writing data on a plate-shaped medium, reading data from the medium and printing on the medium. A drawer tray is provided in the main body, includes a stacker portion which is configured to accommodate a plurality of plate-shaped media processed by the processor and is movable between an accommodated position where the stacker portion is capable of receiving the media and a drawn position where the drawer tray is pulled out from the main body to take out the media accommodated in the stacker portion.
Claims8
A media processing apparatus comprising:
- a main body;
- a processor which is provided in the main body and performs at least one of writing data on a plate-shaped medium, reading data from the medium and printing on the medium;
- and
- a drawer tray provided in the main body, including a stacker portion which is configured to accommodate a plurality of plate-shaped media processed by the processor, and movable between an accommodated position where the stacker portion is capable of receiving the media and a drawn position where the drawer tray is pulled out from the main body to take out the media accommodated in the stacker portion.
A controlling method of a media processing apparatus including a main body, a processor which is provided in the main body and performs at least one of writing data on a plate-shaped medium, reading data from the medium and printing on the medium, a drawer tray provided in the main body, configured to accommodate a plurality of plate-shaped media processed by the processor, and movable between an accommodated position and a drawn position, and a tray accommodation sensor that detects whether the drawer tray is positioned at the accommodated position, the controlling method comprising:
- when the tray accommodation sensor detects that the drawer tray is moved from the accommodated position during a media discharge operation of discharging the medium to the drawer tray, stopping the media discharge operation;
- when the tray accommodation sensor detects that the drawer tray is moved from the accommodated position during operations other than the media discharge operation, continuing the operation.
