Abstract
A rotating data carrier with detector wafer is described. The detector wafer consists of a chip and a magnetic coupling loop connected to the chip, which loop is arranged on the central uncoated region of the data carrier.

Rotating data carrier (10) with detector wafer (12), wherein the detector wafer (12) consists of a chip (14) and a magnetic coupling loop (16) connected to the chip (14), which loop is arranged on the central uncoated region (20) of the data carrier (10).
