Signal-processing apparatus and electronic apparatus using same

A signal-processing apparatus comprising:

• an instruction-parallel processor operable to perform control processing and issue an instruction;
• a first instruction bus;
• a control processor connected to said instruction-parallel processor via said first instruction bus;
• a second instruction bus;
• a data-parallel processor operable to perform image processing in parallel;
• a plurality of dedicated hardware units operable to perform image processing;
• a data bus;
• a shared memory;
• and
• an input and output interface, wherein
• said instruction-parallel processor controls a number of said plurality of dedicated hardware units connected to said first instruction bus, and controls said control processor via said first instruction bus,
• said data-parallel processor and a number of said plurality of dedicated hardware units are connected to said second instruction bus,
• said control processor controls said data-parallel processor and a number of said plurality of dedicated hardware units connected to said second instruction bus,
• each of said instruction-parallel processor, said data-parallel processor, said plurality of dedicated hardware units, said input and output interface comprises a local memory, and
• said local memory of said data-parallel processor, said local memories of said plurality of dedicated hardware units, said shared memory and said local memory of said input and output interface are connected to said data bus, such that data is transferable therebetween.
