Abstract
The present invention relates to a printhead assembly for a printer system. The printhead assembly includes an elongate substrate defining a channel and spaced apart sets of ink supply holes. Printhead modules are mounted serially along the substrate outside the channel. Each printhead module includes an ink ejection integrated circuit in fluid communication with a respective set of ink supply holes. An ink distribution arrangement is located within the channel and distributes ink to the sets of ink supply holes.
Claims8
A printhead assembly for a printer system, the printhead assembly comprising:
- an elongate substrate defining a channel and spaced apart sets of ink supply holes;
- printhead modules mounted serially along the substrate outside the channel and each including an ink ejection integrated circuit in fluid communication with a respective set of ink supply holes;
- and
- an ink distribution arrangement located within the channel and configured to distribute ink to the sets of ink supply holes.
