Abstract
There is provided a blue luminescent material having Formula I Ar1 and Ar2 are the same or different and each is an aryl group having at least two electron-withdrawing substituents. R1 and R2 are the same or different and can be alkyl, or aryl. R3, R4, R5 and R6 are the same or different and can be hydrogen, alkyl, or alkoxy. n is 0 or 1.
Claims10
A blue luminescent material having Formula I
- wherein:
- Ar1 and Ar2 are the same or different and each is an aryl group having at least two electron-withdrawing substituents;
- R1 and R2 are the same or different and are selected from the group consisting of alkyl, and aryll;
- R3, R4, R5 and R6 are the same or different and are selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, alkyl, and alkoxy;
- and
- n is 0 or 1.
A blue luminescent material selected from the group consisting of
An organic electronic device comprising a first electrical contact, a second electrical contact and a photoactive layer therebetween, the photoactive layer comprising a blue luminescent material having Formula I
- wherein:
- Ar1 and Ar2 are the same or different and each is an aryl group having at least two electron-withdrawing substituents;
- R1 and R2 are the same or different and are selected from the group consisting of alkyl, and aryl;
