The present disclosure provides for a fishing garment design that includes attachment features for releasably securing fish fighting articles or gear to the fishing garment design, and where the fish fighting articles or gear are easily adjusted by the user once the fighting articles or gear are secured onto the fishing garment design. The disclosed fishing garment design is particularly adapted for use in connection with big-game fishing, e.g., sportfishing, salt and freshwater offshore fishing, billfish fishing, tuna fishing, sharkfishing or the like.
