Folding, auto-leveling extension table

An apparatus for supporting and maintaining the height of a work piece respective to an associated adjustable-height machine, comprising:

• an elongate extension table having a proximal end and a spaced-apart distal end, with the proximal end pivotally attached to the adjustable-height machine;
• a leveling assembly having an inner section pivotally attached to the machine and an operably connected outer section extending laterally away from the machine beneath said extension table;
• a height-adjustable leg assembly including an upper end pivotally connected to and supporting the distal end of the extension table and a lower end pivotally connected to the outer section of said leveling assembly;
• a pair of spaced-apart lifting arms having a first end pivotally attached to the adjustable-height work surface near the extension table and a second end pivotally connected to the inner section of said leveling assembly;
• and
• wherein the leveling assembly supports and maintains the height of the extension table in substantial planar alignment with the adjustable height work surface of the machine.
