Image forming apparatus and image forming method

An image forming method performed in an image forming apparatus comprising a drum, the method comprising:

• forming an electrostatic latent image corresponding to print data that is to be printed, on a surface of the drum;
• developing the electrostatic latent image so as to generate a developed image;
• transferring the developed image onto a printing medium;
• and
• fixing the transferred image to the printing medium,
• wherein the forming of the electrostatic latent image is performed by the drum itself.

A computer readable recording medium having recorded thereon an image forming method performed in an image forming apparatus comprising a drum, the method comprising:

• forming an electrostatic latent image corresponding to print data that is to be printed, on a surface of the drum;
• developing the electrostatic latent image so as to generate a developed image;
• transferring the developed image onto a printing medium;
• and
• fixing the transferred image to the printing medium,
• wherein the forming of the electrostatic latent image is performed by the drum itself.
