Provided is a cross-point latch and a method of operating the cross-point latch. The cross-point latch includes a signal line, two control lines crossing the signal line, and unipolar switches disposed at crossing points between the signal line and the control lines.

A cross-point latch comprising:
- a signal line;
- two control lines crossing the signal line;
- and
- unipolar switches disposed at crossing points between the signal line and the control lines.

A method of operating a cross-point latch that comprises:
- a signal line;
- first and second control lines crossing the signal line;
- and unipolar switches disposed at crossing points between the signal line and the first and second control lines, the method comprising:
- while an input voltage is applied to the signal line, applying voltages different from each other to the first and second control lines in order to close one of the unipolar switches and open the other one (Operation 1).
