Warning light

A warning light assembly comprising:

• a warning light including:
• a housing having a base and a translucent cover;
• one or more light emitting diodes within the housing, each of the light emitting diodes operable to emit light substantially along an optical output axis;
• and
• a reflector resident within the housing, the reflector including a reflective surface having a curve section disposed substantially perpendicular to the optical output axis of at least one of the one or more light emitting diodes;
• a base plate;
• and
• a flared warning light frame configured to surround a perimeter of the warning light.

An emergency vehicle having at least one warning light installed thereon, the warning light including:

• a housing having a base and a translucent cover;
• one or more light emitting diodes within the housing, each of the light emitting diodes operable to emit light substantially along an optical output axis;
• and
• a reflector resident within the housing, the reflector including a reflective surface having a curve section disposed substantially perpendicular to the optical output axis of at least one of the light emitting diodes.
