Abstract
A development system is provided. The system includes a workspace component to visually display one or more class components. A linking component identifies a database relationship between at least two of the class components, where the database relationship is employed to automatically create a class association between the at least two class components.

A development system, comprising:
- a workspace component to visually display one or more class components;
- and
- a linking component to identify a database relationship between at least two of the class components, where the database relationship is employed to automatically create a class association between the at least two class components.
A method for creating object associations, comprising:
- creating a first class object on a designer workspace;
- moving at least one other relational object onto the designer workspace;
- determining if a link exists between the first class object the relational object;
- and
- automatically creating an association between the first class object the relational object if the link is determined to exist.
