Abstract
The invention is directed to quick-dissolve flavor tablets for use by consumers in flavoring beverages, such as water, and methods for flavoring such beverages. The tablet comprises a flavor component and a quick-dissolve carrier component which disintegrates rapidly upon placement into the beverage container with minimal residue.

A quick-dissolve flavor tablet for flavoring a beverage in a container comprising a flavor component and a quick-dissolve carrier component, wherein the tablet is capable of dissolving upon placement in the beverage container with minimal residue.
A water-soluble, quick-dissolve flavor tablet for flavoring a beverage in a container comprising a flavor component having at least one flavor and one or more sweeteners, and optionally, one or more colorants, disposed in a quick-dissolve carrier component, wherein the tablet is capable of dissolving upon placement in the beverage container with minimal residue.
