Abstract
A hearing assistance device, comprising a microphone to receive sound, signal processing electronics electrically connected to the microphone, a receiver electrically connected to the signal processing electronics and a switch electrically connected to the signal processing electronics, wherein the switch includes conductive silicone adapted to change the switch from a first state to a second state when activated.
Claims25
A hearing assistance device, comprising:
- a microphone to receive sound;
- signal processing electronics electrically connected to the microphone;
- a receiver electrically connected to the signal processing electronics;
- and
- a switch electrically connected to the signal processing electronics, the switch including conductive silicone adapted to change the switch from a first state to a second state when activated.
2 more elements
A hearing assistance device, comprising:
- a housing;
- signal processing electronics enclosed in the housing;
- an acoustic transducer adapted to be worn in a user's ear canal;
- and
- one or more contacts comprising conductive silicone for electrically connecting the acoustic transducer to the signal processing electronics.
2 more elements
An apparatus, comprising:
- a behind-the-ear hearing aid including a plurality of switches comprising a single layer of conductive silicone and at least one transducer electrically connected to another component using one or more contacts comprising conductive silicone.
