Abstract
A supportive spring base for sleeping or reclining having connecting elements (13) for the connection of at least two spring slats (10), the connecting elements (13) having spring elements and/or suspension devices (16) which permit a relative movement of the connecting elements (13) with respect to the spring slats (10).
Claims20
A supportive spring base for a mattress for a place to sleep and/or recline, the supportive spring base comprising:
- a) a plurality of spring slats running at a parallel distance to one another and lying in a common slat plane;
- b) a frame having longitudinal struts running transversely with respect to the spring slats and on which the spring slats are mounted with end regions mounted on the longitudinal struts;
- and
- c) connecting elements arranged between and connecting at least two of the spring slats to each other, the connecting elements comprising (i) load-bearing means holding the spring elements between two adjacent spring slats and (ii) spring elements partially protruding upwards with respect to the common slat plane with the protruding portion of the spring elements lying in a common spring element plane, whereby the protruding portions of the spring elements impart spring properties to the connecting elements,
- wherein the spring elements and the spring slats provide independent spring support to the mattress thereon.

- and
- c) connecting elements arranged between and connecting at least three of the spring slats to each other, the connecting elements comprising (i) load-bearing means holding the spring elements on the spring slats and (ii) spring elements partially protruding upwards with respect to the common slat plane with the protruding portion of the spring elements lying in a common spring element plane, whereby the protruding portions of the spring elements impart spring properties to the connecting elements,
