Claims20
An apparatus comprising:
- a downhole measurement tool;
- a transducer coupled to said measurement tool, said transducer having a body with an outer surface;
- and
- a heater disposed adjacent said outer surface to conduct heat from said heater to said outer surface.
1 more element
A downhole tool comprising:
- a tool body having a pressure measurement tool and a pressure transducer package mounted therein;
- a heating jacket disposed about said pressure transducer package;
- means for communicating an ambient downhole fluid pressure to an interior of said tool body;
- and
- a fluid passageway communicating said ambient downhole fluid pressure to an interior of both said transducer package and said heating jacket.
2 more elements
A method comprising:
- disposing a transducer and a heater located adjacent the transducer on a downhole tool;
- lowering the tool into a well;
- heating the transducer with the heater;
- and
- controlling a temperature of the transducer.
