Abstract
A process for separating C8 aromatics is disclosed. The process uses at least two adsorbents, and in particular a BaX zeolite and a KY zeolite, for the separation of para-xylene from a mixture of C8 aromatics.

A process for separating para-xylene from a feed mixture comprising:
- contacting the feed mixture with a bed of adsorbent comprising a mixture of at least two adsorbents, a first adsorbent and a second adsorbent, and wherein the adsorbents selected are two different faujasites.
