Abstract
An antenna and radio frequency unit (ARFU) that is external to a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) includes a radio frequency (RF) front end device and an antenna in communication with the RF front end device. The RF front end device is in communication with the WTRU.

An antenna and radio frequency unit (ARFU), external to a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU), the ARFU comprising:
- a radio frequency (RF) front end device;
- and
- an antenna in communication with the RF front end device;
- wherein the RF front end device is in communication with the WTRU.

A wireless headset external to a WTRU, the wireless headset comprising:
- an ARFU;
- an RF transceiver;
- a voice processor in communication with the RF transceiver;
- a controller in communication with the ARFU, RF transceiver and the voice processor;
- and
- a first antenna in communication with the ARFU;
- wherein the wireless headset is configured to transmit diversity data from a remote communication device to the WTRU.
