Abstract
A method of providing a multimedia service to a mobile communication terminal, which includes selecting a content to be downloaded, and selectively downloading the content using a streaming mode when the content cannot be downloaded using a progressive mode.

A method of providing a multimedia service to a mobile communication terminal, the method comprising:
- selecting a content to be downloaded;
- and
- selectively downloading the content using a streaming mode when the content cannot be downloaded using a progressive mode.
A mobile communication terminal, comprising:
- an input unit configured to select a content to be downloaded;
- a wireless transceiver configured to receive the content from a server;
- a memory configured to store the content;
- and
- a controller configured to selectively download the content using a streaming mode when the content cannot be downloaded using a progressive mode.
