A prepared substrate comprising an array of cube corner cavities and protrusions interspersed between the cube corner cavities, wherein the horizontal cross section of the protrusions are four-sided diamond shapes.
A PG cube corner element comprising faces terminating at a nondihedral edge of the cube corner elements wherein at least two faces are constituent faces disposed on opposed sides of a transition line that is nonparallel to the respective nondihedral edge.
