Information recording/play-backing apparatus

A video or audio information recording/play-backing apparatus comprising:

• a video signal processor for encoding video or audio information from outside;
• a recording/play-back signal processor for converting a plurality of moving picture contents created by the video signal processor into information to be written into a first recording medium and a second recording medium;
• a first power source;
• a second power source;
• a display device for displaying the moving picture contents;
• and
• a controller for controlling these components,
• wherein, when the recording/play-backing apparatus is operated by the second power source and play-back of the first recording medium and recording onto the second recording medium are performed, the display device for displaying the moving picture contents is stopped.

A video or audio information recording/play-backing apparatus comprising:

• a video signal processor for encoding video or audio information from outside;
• a recording/play-back signal processor for converting a plurality of moving picture contents created by the video signal processor into information to be written into a first recording medium and a second recording medium;
• a first power source;
• a second power source;
• a display device for displaying the moving picture contents;
• and
• a controller for controlling these components,
• wherein, when play-back of the first recording medium, recording onto the second recording medium, and display operation of the display device for displaying the moving picture contents are performed, these components are operated by the first power source.

An information recording/play-backing apparatus comprising:

• a signal processor for encoding information;
• a recording/play-backing signal processor for converting the encoded information created by the signal processor into information to be written into a first recording medium and a second recording medium;
• a first power source;
• a second power source;
• a display device for displaying the encoded information;
• and
• a controller for managing these components,
• wherein the apparatus further comprises another controller for performing control in such a way that, when the device is operated by the first power source, operation is also performed onto the second recording medium while recording is performed onto the first recording medium, and that, when the device is operated by the second power source, operation to the second recording medium is stopped while recording onto the first recording medium is performed.
