Abstract
In a motor of a motor unit, a base plate includes a raised portion protruding from a surrounding portion on a side of the stator portion opposite to a rotor portion. A raised face of the raised portion is perpendicular to a central axis and is formed in an annular shape around the central axis. The raised face of the raised portion protrudes lower than a lower surface of a sticker member stuck around the raised portion to thereby close a hole portion formed around the raised portion.
Claims22
A motor unit including an electric motor for rotating a recording disk, comprising:
- a motor including a rotor portion rotating around a central axis through a bearing mechanism with respect to a stationary portion;
- a housing member at least a housing part of which houses the recording disk therein, the housing member including a base portion having a circular opening with the central axis as a center thereof into which a part of the bearing mechanism is inserted;
- a sheet member attached to a lower face of the base portion;
- a raised portion located on a portion radially inward of the sheet member and around the circular opening of the lower face of the base portion or a lower face the bearing mechanism;
- wherein
- a lower face of the raised portion is positioned lower than a lower face of the sheet member.
A motor unit including an electric motor to rotate a recording disk, comprising:
- a motor including a rotor portion rotating around a central axis through a bearing mechanism with respect to a stationary portion;
- a housing member at least a housing part of which houses the recording disk therein, the housing member including a base portion having a circular opening with the central axis as a center thereof into which a part of the bearing mechanism is inserted;
- a sheet member attached to a lower face of the base portion;
- a raised portion locating on a portion radially inward of the sheet member and around the circular opening on the lower face of the base portion or a lower face the bearing mechanism;
- wherein
- the raised portion positions in substantially the same plane as a lower face of the sheet member.
