Display device

A display device, comprising:

• a first electrode and a second electrode separated from each other;
• an electron accelerating layer arranged between the first electrode and the second electrode and in which electrons accelerate when a voltage is applied between the first electrode and the second electrode;
• an excitation gas layer arranged between the second electrode and the electron accelerating layer, the excitation gas layer including a plurality of excitation gas particles to generate ultraviolet rays after being excited by electrons accelerated in the electron accelerating layer;
• and
• a phosphor layer to emit visible rays after being excited by the ultraviolet rays.

A display device, comprising:

• a first electrode and a second electrode separated from each other;
• a first electron accelerating layer arranged on a first surface of the first electrode and in which electrons accelerate when a voltage is applied between the first electrode and the second electrode;
• a second electron accelerating layer arranged on a first surface of the second electrode and in which electrons accelerate when a voltage is applied between the first electrode and the second electrode;
• an excitation gas layer arranged between the first electron accelerating layer and the second electron accelerating layer, the excitation gas layer including a plurality of excitation gas particles to generate ultraviolet rays after being excited by electrons emitted from one of the first electron accelerating layer and the second electron accelerating layer;
• and
• a phosphor layer to emit visible rays after being excited by the ultraviolet rays.
