An electronic device comprising a substrate, an active layer, and an encapsulating layer comprising at least one wax.
A thin film transistor comprising
- a substrate;
- a gate electrode;
- a semiconductor layer;
- a gate dielectric layer;
- a source electrode;
- a drain electrode;
- and a layer thereover comprising a wax and optional additives wherein the gate dielectric layer, the gate electrode, the semiconductor layer, the source electrode, and the drain electrode are in any sequence providing that said gate electrode and said semiconductor layer both contact the gate dielectric layer, and the source electrode and the drain electrode both contact the semiconductor layer.
