Bicycle control device

A bicycle control device comprising:

• a support member having a distal end and a proximal end configured and arranged to be coupled to a bicycle handlebar;
• a brake lever pivotally coupled to the distal end of the support member to pivot about a brake pivot axis in a brake operating plane from a brake resting position to a brake operating position;
• and
• a shift lever pivotally coupled to the support member and extending outwardly from a bottom surface of the support member with an exposed user operating portion lying offset from the brake operating plane, the shift lever having a shift lever attachment portion with a shift lever longitudinal axis extending through the shift lever attachment portion and the exposed user operating portion, the shift lever longitudinal axis being substantially parallel to the brake operating plane, the shift lever being movable in a shift operating plane that is non-parallel to the brake operating plane,
• the shift lever being configured and arranged to remain stationary during movement of the brake lever along the brake operating plane.
