Abstract
A web server for displaying search results is disclosed. The web server may be configured to receive a search query over the public network from a user; produce a set of results responsive to the search including content associated with the search query; display the results to the user on a web page as titles in list form corresponding to the full-page entries of the search results; and wherein content associated with the search results is not contained in the list.

A method for displaying search results comprising:
- providing a web-accessible database searchable by a user over a public network, said database including entries posted by users of the database;
- receiving a search query over the public network from a user;
- producing a set of results responsive to the search including content associated with said search query;
- displaying said results to the user on a web page as titles in list form corresponding to the full-page entries of said search results;
- and
- wherein content associated with said search results is not contained in said list.
An apparatus for displaying search results comprising:
- means for providing a web-accessible database searchable by a user over a public network, said database including entries posted by users of the database;
- means for receiving a search query over the public network from a user;
- means for producing a set of results responsive to the search including content associated with said search query;
- means for displaying said results to the user on a web page as titles in list form corresponding to the full-page entries of said search results;
- and
- wherein content associated with said search results is not contained in said list.
A web server for displaying search results comprising:
- a web server including a database searchable by a user over a public network, said database including entries posted by users of the database, the web server configured to:
- receive a search query over the public network from a user;
- produce a set of results responsive to the search including content associated with said search query;
- display said results to the user on a web page as titles in list form corresponding to the full-page entries of said search results;
- and
- wherein content associated with said search results is not contained in said list.
