Abstract
The present invention relates to a coating composition comprising an aqueous dispersion of single wall carbon nanotubes with covalently attached hydrophilic species selected from the group consisting of carboxylic acid, nitrates, hydroxyls, sulfur containing groups, carboxylic acid salts, and phosphates, in an amount of at least 0.5 atomic % of said carbon nanotubes, wherein said carbon nanotubes are present in an amount of at least 0.05 wt. % of said dispersion.
Claims51
A coating composition comprising an aqueous dispersion of single wall carbon nanotubes with covalently attached hydrophilic species selected from the group consisting of carboxylic acid, nitrates, hydroxyls, sulfur containing groups, carboxylic acid salts, and phosphates, in an amount of at least 0.5 atomic % of said carbon nanotubes, wherein said carbon nanotubes are present in an amount of at least 0.05 wt. % of said dispersion.
An article comprising a transparent carbon nanotube layer comprising single wall carbon nanotubes with covalently attached hydrophilic species selected from the group consisting of carboxylic acid, nitrates, hydroxyls, sulfur containing groups, carboxylic acid salts, and phosphates, in an amount of at least 0.5 atomic % of said carbon nanotubes.
A display device comprising a substrate, an electrically conductive transparent carbon nanotube layer on a surface of said substrate, and a lead electrically connected to said conductive layer, wherein said conductive layer comprises single wall carbon nanotubes with covalently attached hydrophilic species selected from the group consisting of carboxylic acid, nitrates, hydroxyls, carbonyls, and phosphates, in an amount of at least 0.5 atomic % of said carbon nanotubes.
