Abstract
An optical cellulose acylate film satisfying (1)-(3) below, and showing a reduction of only 30% or less in both of its number-average and weight-average molecular weights when heated for 20 minutes at a temperature 10° C. higher than its melting point in an inert gas atmosphere: (1): 2.4≦A+B<3.0 (2): 0≦A≦1.5 (3): 0.9<B<3 wherein A represents the substitution degree of acetyl groups in cellulose acylate, and B represents the total substitution degree of acyl groups having 3 to 7 carbon atoms in cellulose acylate.

An optical cellulose acylate film satisfying the requirements of (1) to (3) below, and showing a reduction of only 30% or less in both of its number-average and weight-average molecular weights when heated for 20 minutes at a temperature 10° C. higher than its melting point in an inert gas atmosphere:
- (1):
- 2.4≦A+B<3.0
- (2):
- 0≦A≦1.5
- (3):
- 0.9<B<3
- wherein A represents the substitution degree of acetyl groups in cellulose acylate, and B represents the total substitution degree of acyl groups having 3 to 7 carbon atoms in cellulose acylate.
