Abstract
A hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive composition which, as a result of the use of a hydrogenated styrene-butadiene-butylene-styrene block copolymer, has improved properties in respect of immediate adhesion and also the removal of the hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive composition from a carrier substrate without leaving a residue, is described.

A hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive composition comprising at least one resin component, at least one styrene block copolymer, a plasticizer component and at least one hydrogenated styrene-butadiene-butylene-styrene block copolymer in addition to the at least one styrene block copolymer.
A method of modifying the immediate adhesion and long-term adhesion of a hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive composition, said method comprising incorporating at least one hydrogenated styrene-butadiene-butylene-styrene block copolymer into said adhesive composition.
