Abstract
In a mobile communication system, a mobile switching center 27 changes a transmission rate of communication data transmitted from a mobile station 16 and so on to a database 11 or a transmission rate of communication data transmitted from the database 11 to the mobile station 16 and so on, on a basis of a request from the mobile station 16 and so on or the database 11, individually and independently.

A communication control method for being used in a mobile communication system comprising a base station and a mobile station in a radio covered area of the base station, and for controlling radio communication performed between the base station and the mobile station, the method comprising following steps:
- power-judging step for judging whether transmitting power in the base station or the mobile station, required in case that the radio communication between the base station and the mobile station would be performed in the transmitting speed, is within capability of the base station or the mobile station, or not, and
- validating step for determining the transmitting speed as valid speed to be adapted to the radio communication between the base station and the mobile station when the transmitting power is judged as within capability of the base station or the mobile station in the power-judging step.
