Abstract
The present invention provides for an apparatus for the drying step of the printing plates for flexography, so as to let a solvent present inside the plates to evaporate, comprising a base element (9, 25) for carrying the printing plates (8, 26), and a lighting system (1, 23) above the printing plates for heating the printing plates by irradiation of visible light wavelengths.

A method for drying printing plates for flexography, so as to let a solvent present inside the plates to evaporate, wherein it comprises the step of heating the printing plates by irradiation of visible light wavelengths.
Apparatus for drying printing plates for flexography, so as to let a solvent present inside the plates to evaporate, wherein it comprises:
- a base element for carrying the printing plates;
- a lighting system above the printing plates for heating the printing plates by irradiation of visible light wavelengths.
