Abstract
A apparatus for ligating living tissues comprises an introducing tube capable of being inserted into a living body cavity, at least two or more manipulating wires movably inserted into the introducing tube, and at least two or more clips having a proximal end portion, a pinch section being formed at a distal end of an arm section extending from the proximal end. This clipping apparatus is characterized in that a plurality of clips are arranged in series in the introducing tube so as to engage the clip and the manipulating wire with each other, respectively.

An apparatus for ligating living tissues comprising:
- an introducing tube capable of being inserted into a living body cavity;
- a manipulating wire inserted into the introducing tube and being movable in an axial direction of the introducing tube;
- at least two clips each of which have a proximal end portion, form a pinch section at an arm section which extends from the proximal end portion and have an opening/expanding property, wherein the clips are arranged in series in the introducing tube, and a compression member is movably inserted backwardly into one of the clips mounted in the most proximal end portion of the inside of the introducing tube.
An apparatus comprising:
- an introducing tube capable of being inserted into a subject;
- a manipulating wire inserted into the introducing tube and being forwardly or backwardly movable in the introducing tube;
- a clip having a proximal end portion and at least two arm sections for pinching a target portion of the subject, the arm sections forwardly extending from the proximal end portion, and being movable between an open position and a closed position, the clip being inserted into the introducing tube and operably connected to the manipulating wire such that the clip is backwardly moved when the manipulating wire is backwardly moved;
- and
- a pushing member inserted into the introducing tube and being forwardly movable in the introducing tube to forwardly push the clip so that the clip is outwardly protruded from a distal end of the introducing tube.
