Abstract
Embodiments of the present invention comprise systems, methods and devices for imaging device event notification.
Claims20
A method for imaging device (IDev) event notification, said method comprising:
- a) detecting a specific IDev event;
- b) checking an event subscription record with an IDev notification application to determine if said event is recorded on said event subscription record;
- c) sending an event notification to a subscribing application when said event is recorded on said event subscription record;
- and
- d) receiving said event notification at said subscribing application from said notification application.

An apparatus for imaging device event notification, said apparatus comprising:
- a) a detector for detecting a specific IDev event;
- b) a subscribing application comprising a receiver;
- c) an imaging device (IDev) comprising;
- a notification application comprising a sender and a subscription record checker;
- d) a subscription record;
- e) a communication network linking said subscribing application, said IDev notification application and said subscription record checker;
- f) wherein said checker may check said subscription record to determine whether said specific IDev event is identified on said subscription record and said sender may send said event notification from said notification application to said subscribing application when said specific IDev event is identified on said subscription record.
